A budgeting tool for renovations, and nothing on the side.
Cobblewood keeps a home renovation on budget, from the first bid to the final punch list. It works from one source: the numbers you write down.
It earns from one thing, the Cobblewood Plus plan. No commissions, no lead fees, no lenders in the back room.

Why it exists.
Renovation budgets rarely break in one go. They drift. A tile upgrade here, a change order for an extra outlet there, an allowance that was never going to cover the counter that got picked. Each one is small enough to shrug at, and nobody adds them up until the end.
The bids that start the job are no easier. One includes demolition, another leaves out haul-away, and the totals say nothing about why they differ.
Cobblewood exists to put both on the wall where you can see them: every line, every bid, every payment, in plain figures.
| Countertops allowance | $4,800 | |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit | Apr 2 | $2,400 |
| Balance on install | Apr 30 | $2,400 |
| Change order: thicker edge, extra cutout | May 12 | $1,400 |
| Over by | $1,400 | |
Your contingency still covers it, with $2,100 left.
Your numbers, written down. Not an estimate.
What it does.
Six pieces, in the order a job uses them. Each works from figures you enter; none of them is an estimate.
- BudgetA total for the project, with a contingency set aside for what turns up behind the walls.
- Line itemsThe budget split into the lines the work is priced in: cabinets, electrical, labor, permits.
- BidsQuotes entered line by line and set side by side, so a line one bid leaves out shows.
- The logDeposits, progress payments, receipts and change orders, each written against its line.
- The flagA line running over its allowance, named with the amount and what still covers it.
- The reportAt close-out, every line budgeted against what it cost.
Three lines it never crosses.
These are fixed. They are in the Terms, and they are the reason Cobblewood can be trusted with your numbers.
Open each line to strike it off.
Contractor referrals
Cobblewood never recommends, rates or matches contractors, takes no referral fees, and never vouches for a bid. Who does the work is your call; Cobblewood only lines up what they quoted.
Financing
No loans, no lenders, no financing offers of any kind. Cobblewood is a budgeting tool, not a lender or a financial advisor.
Touching the money
No bank connections and no payments. Money moves between you and the people doing the work. Cobblewood only keeps the record you write down.
How it treats your numbers.
You enter them. They are stored in your account so the service can do the arithmetic.
- Never sold. Your budgets, bids and payments are not for sale, and they are not shared with contractors, retailers or lenders.
- Yours to show. A shared project is visible only to the partner you invite, and you can remove that access at any time.
- Yours to keep. With Plus, the final cost report exports, so the record leaves with you.
- Never a guess. Comparisons and flags reflect what you entered. Cobblewood does not estimate costs or grade bids.
